Wasted 03:26
"Wasted" by Brenda Carsey Why didn’t I see, you didn’t wanna be with me You went away a long, long time ago You wanted me but you couldn’t protect my soul You went away a long, long time ago And I feel your wasted You know you fucked me again And I feel your fake and You know you’re stuck in the middle Why didn’t I see, you didn’t wanna be with me You went away a long, long time ago You wanted me but you couldn’t protect my soul You went away a long, long time ago And I feel your wasted You know you fucked me again And I feel your fake and You know you’re stuck in the middle

"Yellow Bellied Man" by Brenda Carsey Baby, where has your love gone It’s been gone for so long, It’s been gone for so long Tell me what’s wrong Tell me, where has your love gone It’s been gone for so long, It’s been gone for so long Tell me what’s wrong And you walked out before you said goodbye And you drove off to meet horizon’s line You didn’t look back, only eyed me in your mirror Tail between your legs as you raced on in fear Oh, you went away before you shoulda gone You were around so long And I know that you love me Our energy flows from soul to soul So why’d you have to go? Do you recall how you’d look in my eye? Your hand so soft, slowly creeping up my thigh The jokes, the laughs, we always got each other Kind man, big heart, best friend, puzzle piece lover Oh, you went away before you shoulda gone You were around so long And I know that you love me Our energy flows from soul to soul So why’d you have to go?

Grow 04:34
"Grow" by Brenda Carsey I’m sorry to you for the things I do I know that I’m in your face and I can be rude Oh this attitude I’ve had my whole life But as years pass by I become more aware and I try Take in the world around me and know Not to stagnate myself but instead grow Oh intolerance is ignorance Open your mind, don’t end up frozen in time Pop that bubble encompassing your head Become more aware and try Take in the world around you and know Not to stagnate yourself but instead grow Take in the world around you and know Not to stagnate yourself but instead grow This is just a first hand narrative Don’t take it from me, you’ll find, you’ll find out as you live Take advice, especially from you friends Become more aware and try Take in the world around you and know Not to stagnate yourself but instead grow Take in the world around you and know Not to stagnate yourself but instead grow

Stuck On You 04:50
"Stuck On You" by Brenda Carsey Oh my, what do I do? I’m so tired of the color blue Been so long since I’ve smiled in the mirror Bored of everything around me to Every time I feel good you keep coming around Every time I look up you make me look back downYou know you’re no good and you poison my soul But when I turn to leave, I can’t let go Oo, I’m stuck on you Oh no, I’m stuck on you Oh dear, what’s gotten into me? I should be thankful someone loves me I have someone to hold me through the night Oh but no, no no, he hasn’t done that lately Every time I feel good you keep coming around Every time I look up you make me look back down You know you’re no good and you poison my soul But when I turn to leave, I can’t let go Oo, I’m stuck on you Oh no, I’m stuck on you Oh brain stirs with emotion Should I turn and walk away or give devotion? Oh, it’s what you do to me I’m in a haze, I can’t see Gotta stop fooling around I wish I could share this with my own man Yah he’s got a good heart but he don’t understand What it means to accept and nurture a soul Oh I wish I could leave, but I can;’t let go Oo, I’m stuck on you Oh no, I’m stuck on you Oh I’m stuck on you Oh I’m stuck on you Stuck on you Stuck on you Oh I’m stuck on you

Her 05:16
"Her" by Brenda Carsey Lazy gray, what’d you do today?Did you sit awake inside all day? Closed mouth, closed eyes One thing only on your mind One speck of flesh and one flash of pearl From her, your world, your girl Hear her tone, you love her clothes Her toes, her glow, her soul If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me Lazy eyes, don’t be surprised Can’t keep on telling yourself lies Forehead folds, wrinkled nose Stuck in thought waiting to grow Then one glimpse of lace and one salty taste Of her, you world unfurls Feel your prize, you love her size Her thighs, her eyes, her cries If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me If you could only see the light shining before your eyes And realize that light is me Oh I’d give you my love if you give me your heart Wrapped up with a bow in a box I’d give you my love if you give me your heart Be patient and true from the start

"You Still Are" by Brenda Carsey This is it, this is all we know Surrounded by fools, how can one expect to grow? Keep making your judgements, keep putting on a show Keep separating yourself, how can you expect to grow? So much ignorance, no reason or rhyme Oh so many wasted days, we drank away our prime Dreams and ambitions crushed by the hands of time, yah Oh like said, dreams and ambitions crushed by the hands of time But look into my eyes You see that you still You still are my child Oh you still You still are Another rainy day in that head of yours You’re drowning in your thoughts, you can’t wake any more Oh, stop singling yourself out, it’s time you figure out We’re all one, so baby come on! Oh you still You still are my child Oh you still You still are You still are Yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah, ohh Yeah, oh my daddy, yeah, oh my sugar Yeah, yeah Yeah, oh my brother, yeah, oh my sister Yeah, Ooo This is it, this is all we know Surrounded by fools, how can one expect to grow? Oh, oh oh

S.O.B. 05:09
"S.O.B." by Brenda Carsey Hey there boy you're kind of cute Come over here, I've got good news I'm gonna let you walk and hold my hand Then maybe we'll be more than friends Or not You can take me out for food And then play your games and act real smooth Or not Then after that we'll get in your car And drive to the hills and put it in park And maybe you'll be a lucky guy When you go in for a touching try Or not Oh baby, can't you see, that I am a lovely gal but I'm an S.O.B. But if you give me a try, maybe you'll be around long enough to see me cry Oh lovely, it's plane to see, I'm a little bit, little bit crazy First date done and all is fine I kinda like you gonna make you mine And if you treat me like a gem divine You might get to taste this apple pie Or not I like you and you like me And maybe we can start a family Or not Patience, slow, I'll let you know What's the rush and where you got to go? Make me blush and make me moan OK sweet daddy, come on home Oh yah Oh baby, can't you see, that I am a lovely gal but I'm an S.O.B. But if you give me a try, maybe you'll be around long enough to see me cry. Oh lovely, it's plane to see, I'm a little bit, little bit crazy Hey cutie pie I see your grin She must have gone and let you in You must have got yourself a win Participating in some sin, well Poor your girl a glass of gin Let's raise our glass and toast our kin Rewind and do it all again Young man, sweet lover, excepting friend Oh baby, can't you see, that I am a lovely gal but I'm an S.O.B. But if you give me a try, maybe you'll be around long enough to see me cry. Oh lovely, it's plane to see, I'm a little bit, little bit crazy And I like it like that

about

“Sirens” is a sonic and visual journey navigating the balance between softness and power, painted with melodic sweetness, passion, and longing. A sphere of mist and echoes, of growth and healing, of a past brought to the present, of the warrior goddess that is woman, both soft and nurturing, strong and ferocious. The songs are subjects of memories past that I have long since moved on from, brought back to life through new musical capturing to share a story many in my life have told me they have experienced as well. Music I felt that needed to be recorded and brought to new life for release and connection with others. We are all connected in so many different ways... Smokey vocals wrapped in a blanket of haunting harmonies, lush strings, rhythmic guitar, and floating keys.
